Get involved

National Retreat Week – renew:all is a call to be intentional about taking time out to retreat – whether alone or with a group – during the week or at any time that works for you.

There are many reasons to retreat – from exploring an idea or artistic creation, to checking in with yourself, your life’s direction, or simply to get closer to God. There are many ways to retreat too, from a 20 minute quiet time to spending a few days of structured reflection at a retreat centre – and lots in between!

Start by signing up to our email updates – we’ll send you specially produced retreat resources and reflections from a variety of retreat leaders and authors during National Retreat Week, and occasional updates at other times.

Individual

Choose your place – a retreat centre is ideal but if you can’t make it to one, you can take time out at home, or just wherever you are comfortable.

Check out the resources and links on our site for inspiration and ideas for your retreat time.

Set a time to get away from distractions and retreat – 20 minutes, a few hours, or few days – whatever you can manage.

The journey continues – can you fit time to retreat into your routine more often?

As a group

Who are you going to retreat with? It could be members of your church or community, or any group you like – from a short one hour session up to a whole day of quiet and contemplation.

Check out the resources and links on our site for inspiration and ideas for your retreat time.

If you’re organising a retreat event please let us know – we can provide posters, social media content and more to help advertise your event or ideas for a retreat leader or speaker.
